1) President is an officer elected by the Board of Directors. The president has overall responsibility and authority to organize and operate the youth lacrosse program in accordance with the general policies and procedures of Blackhawk Lacrosse Board of Directors.
Coordinates with Board Members and volunteers to ensure program is running in accordance with established policies and procedures; convenes and chairs Board Meetings
Coordinates with Treasurer on estimating annual budget revenues and costs
Prepares and submits necessary corporate filings
Renders final decision on player and coach assignments, as needed
Renders final decisions regarding policies
Approves website content
2) VP – Boys’ Division is an officer elected by the Board of Directors. The VPB is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the boys’ program. The VPB works with Board Members, PC’s, Coaches and Parent Volunteers to ensure the boys’ program needs are met.
Identifies and solicits Program Coordinators and coaches for boys’ division
Ensures training opportunities are provided to boys’ coaches, including training materials, rulebooks, etc.
Determines number of boys’ teams, and players per team
Works with Field Manager and Web Coordinator to prepare field applications, and develop plan for field usage
Coordinates scheduling of games and practices and works with Webmaster to ensure accurate entry of schedule information on website
Organizes pre-season tryouts, and coordinates assignment of players
Coordinates or delegates coordination of special events for boys (i.e., tournaments, college games, high school nights, clinics)
Coordinates uniform and pinnie purchasing; distributes through PC’s
Provides program registration information to Webmaster for publication on website; point of contact for non-technical registration questions
Coordinates with Field Manager regarding in-season field maintenance
3) VP – Girls’ Division is an officer elected by the Board of Director. The VPG is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the girls’ program. The VPG works with Board Members, PC’s, Coaches and Parent Volunteers to ensure the girls’ program needs are met.

4) Secretary is an officer elected by the Board of Directors. The secretary’s duties include:
Takes minutes of board meetings
Maintains corporate minute book
Maintains up-to-date list/repository of Club policies
5) Treasurer is an officer elected by the Board of Directors. The Treasurer’s duties include:
Develops and manages the annual and seasonal budgets
Coordinates with Board on budget, revenue and payments
Provides regular budget reports to Board
Ensures compliance with Club purchasing and other financial policies
Prepares and files all required tax returns
Manages Club bank accounts
6) Webmasters (Boys and Girls)
Coordinates setup and entry of information on the web site.
Sets up and monitors automated registration programs. Transmits email messages to coaches, parents, players as necessary
Ensures website is updated with field closing and other time-sensitive notices
Updates website content
Fields questions related to technical aspects of registration
Schedules officials
Provides support for online merchandise sales
Manages passwords for all different levels of website access
7) Field Manager
Determines field requirements in coordination with Boys and Girls VP’s
Applies for county/private field and indoor field space
Organizes volunteers to line boys’ and girls’ fields weekly
Coordinates with Equipment Manager to ensure fields properly equipped with goals, tables, chairs, scoreboard, cones
8) Equipment Manager
Manages inventory, distribution, collection, and storage of Club equipment, including first aid kits
Coordinates with PC’s regarding team equipment needs and distribution/collection of coaches’ boxes
Orders and distributes coaches’ hats and shirts
Develops and maintains plan for regular refurbishment and/or replacement of Club equipment.
Delegates and collects equipment/uniform deposits, reconciles payments and submits collections to Treasurer
9) Fund Raising and Awards
Oversees the sale of merchandise online and at games, clinics, or other special events
Organizes major fund-raising events (i.e., sticker sales, golf tournament)
Organizes and oversees spring picture day and distributes pictures to PC’s
Coordinates with Program Coordinators and Havoc coordinator on spring trophy/award needs; places Club order with approved trophy vendor; distributes trophies to PC’s and Havoc coordinator
10) Off-Season Coordinator
Coordinates with VP’s regarding set up of fall, winter, and tournament team programs
Identifies and solicits Program Coordinator’s for boys’ and girls’ off-season programs
Coordinates registration with Webmaster
Coordinates field/facility needs with Field Manager
Coordinates with VP’s and Equipment Manager on ordering and distributing necessary equipment and uniforms
11) Havoc Coordinator
Oversees the general operations of the Club’s Havoc in Hanover tournament
Selects tournament date(s)
Prepares tournament budget for review and approval by Board
Coordinates with Field Manager on securing adequate fields and preparing them for tournament play
Coordinates with Equipment Manager on securing adequate equipment for tournament play
Coordinates with Webmaster to secure officials for the tournament
Manages/coordinates with vendors on sale of food and other merchandise at tournament
Selects and manages volunteer staff for day of tournament
Prepares and manages communication and marketing efforts
Sets, communicates, and administers tournament rules
Coordinates with Fund-Raising and Awards on purchase of trophies/awards for tournament winners/participants
Implements appropriate safety policies and practices for the tournament
